Part of the Villa Casagrande building is equipped with agricultural areas: these were used as wine-fermentation rooms, cellars and storage rooms for the farm. Some of the adjacent areas were also used as spinning mills. In 1730 a glass factory was also active.
As a symbol of respect for ancient tradition, today quality wine and oil is still produced.

The roots of our winery business, which was begun by the Serristori family and which has produced precious wines since the 16th century, are therefore buried in the history of this structure, guaranteeing quality and professionalism.
The cellar, more than half of which is underground, houses large oak barrels, used throughout history for the maturation of wine, as well as an agricultural museum including ancient farming equipment and machinery.

The shop which directly sells on tap or bottled wine and oil, is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 9.00am until 12.30pm and from 3.00pm until 5.30pm. Outside these times, the reception desk can provide you with all necessary information.
